LAYER iii · PERMANENCE USE CASE 01 · DESKTOP

Identity, on the IC agenda.

For the institutional BTR fund, Tenure is a board-grade instrument. Brand integrity becomes an asset-level metric, scored continuously across the portfolio, reported in the same cadence as occupancy or NOI.

Scenario · Q2 review
Sophie van Bergen, Head of Resident Experience at a NL/UK BTR fund, opens Tenure on Monday morning before the IC meeting. Twelve buildings. One number she can defend.

Identity, on a Thursday morning.

For the resident, Tenure is not an app. It is the surface where the place shows itself — a quiet, daily moment that feels like the building, not the software. The same identity layer that runs the BTR boardroom runs this screen.

Scenario · Thursday, 8:14 AM
Anna, 34, has lived at Asset 03 · Amsterdam for eight months. She opens the screen on her phone with her morning coffee. Three moments are surfaced. One is for today.

Goedemorgen, Anna.

Three things about today.

Lobby Tonight · 19:30

Roos plays the old upright.

Our neighbour from 6B is a pianist. She has offered to play for an hour this evening before dinner — Chopin and some Satie, she said. There is a fire on, and Marit will pour wine from a vineyard she knows.

Marit Jansen · Building manager · No need to RSVP
Your floor Today

Mark moved into 3.18.

Two doors down. He works in sound design for film — currently scoring a documentary. He is from Eindhoven originally. Say hi if you see him in the hall.

Floor introductions · We do these because places remember people, not numbers.
This Saturday 8:00 — 10:00

Coffee in the garden.

Saturday morning is open coffee. No event, no programme. Bring something to read or someone to read with. The kettle is on by eight.

Weekly · Standing arrangement

What this screen refuses to be.

  1. 01 Not a notification feed. The moments are sequenced by their proximity in time. The screen reads as a daily editorial, not an inbox.
  2. 02 No buttons that demand action. No RSVP, no like, no confirm. The place invites; it does not transact.
  3. 03 The building manager has a name. Marit signs her moments. The resident knows who runs the place. The plot is human.
  4. 04 The voice is the building's, not the platform's. "Roos plays the old upright" could not be a generic SaaS string. It is specific. It is of here.
  5. 05 Tenure is the signature, not the surface. "Identity by Tenure" sits quietly at the foot. The operating layer is acknowledged. It is not the protagonist.
FIG. 02 · RESIDENT DAILY MOMENT · MOBILE Asset 03 · Amsterdam · Powered by tenure

One operating layer. Two natural surfaces.

The dashboard and the daily moment are not two products. They are the same discipline, observed from two distances. The standard the IC reviews on Monday is the standard Anna lives on Thursday.
